Just a few points to remember when scanning your applications:
- Use the writing agent’s full name on the application
- Be certain that the scanned copy is legible and that the form number appears on the bottom of each page
- Keep the application in page order when you scan. Include supplemental forms behind the application
IMPORTANT EXCEPTIONS :
- If you collected money with the application, image the application and immediately place the original application and check in the mail. We will begin processing the app but cannot submit the original until the money is received in our office.
- Original paperwork is required for 1035 exchanges. Scan the application and place the original 1035 exchange forms in the mail.
- Hold on to the application for 30 days or send it via regular mail to Innovative Underwriter and we’ll hold for you.
- Send annuity applications via regular mail. Scanned applications are not accepted by the carriers.
